This CRL Window Sash Lock has 1/2″ (13 mm) latch projection which projects from the edge of the housing. The lock does not use a separate keeper as the latch engages the fixed rail to lock the window. This is a popular lock with many window manufacturers and can be used on both horizontal and vertical sliding windows.
