CRL Floor Sockets with Caps are used in areas where Partition Posts are only required at certain times. The Floor Socket is inserted into a 3-1/4″ (82.5 mm) diameter, 5″ (127 mm) deep hole, and then set in place using Expanding Cement. When Partition Posts are needed, the Cap is removed from the Floor Socket and the Partition Posts are inserted. When Partition Posts are not needed, the Cap is inserted for a finished look as well as to prevent tripping in the hole. The flange projects only 1/4″ (6 mm) above the floor.
